Ángel Gurría is the Secretary-General of OECD. He is currently an advisor or a Board Member of several private companies, multilateral institutions and some non-profit associations focusing on development, international finance and globalization. Mr Gurría is the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from UNAM (Mexico) and a M.A. in Economics from Leeds University (UK).
Sari Baldauf worked for Nokia Corporation in different executive positions for more than 20 years. She was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Networks, Nokia Corporation 1998-2005 and a member of the Group Executive Board 1994-2005. Currently Ms Baldauf serves on the boards of Sanoma WSOY, F-Secure, YIT corporation, International Youth Foundation and chairs the board of Savonlinna Opera Festivals. The Board of Hewlett-Packard has named her as a nominee for Director to HP’s 2006 annual meeting. Ms Baldauf holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration
Henri Plagnol is Councillor of State in Paris and University Professor at the Department of International Economics at Paris Dauphine. He was previously Member of the French Government as Minister in charge of the Reform of Public Sector. Mr Plagnol´s latest education is at the National School of Administration (E.N.A.). He is also the author of the “Strategic Government Planning for the e.administration”(2004).
Werner Wutscher is Secretary-General at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. His responsibilities include e.g. reorganisation of the Federal Ministry, strategic planning and organisational development. Mr Wutscher has studied business administration and law. Andrei Sharov is the Director for Department of State Regulation in Economy at the Ministry of Russian Federation for Economic Development and Trade (Minecomrazvitia Rossii). He has previously worked for Krasnoyarsk Administration, Ministry of Russian Federation for Justice and for the Administration of the President of Russian Federation. Mr Sharov has a degree of Candidate of science (law).
William Heath is the founder and chairman of Kable Ltd, the London based public sector informatics research and media services business. Kable publishes Government Computing magazine, kablenet.com and the KableDirect EMEA-wide market research service. Mr Heath moderates the Ideal Government online discussion and is also a Fellow of the Young Foundation for social entrepreneurs, where he works on better feedback mechanisms about public sector service quality.
Geraldine Keegan is the Principal of St. Mary´s College in Londonderry. The college won the European Quality Award in 2001. Previously Ms Keegan has worked as secondary school teacher, a senior lecturer in Teacher Training and as Deputy Director of the Northern Ireland Centre for Education Management. In 2000 she received the highest honour for a woman in the UK in being made a Dame.
Miroslav Beblavý is State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family in the Slovak Republik. His portfolio includes unemployment and labour market, social safety net and public sector employment. Mr Beblavý was previously international consultant for e.g. European Commission, UNDP and PUMA of OECD. His latest degree is external PhD in Economics at the University of St Andrews in the UK.
Siim Kallas is Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Administration, Audit and Anti-fraud. He has previously served in Estonia as Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the Central Bank. Mr Kallas graduated from the Finance and Credit Department of the University of Tartu in 1972 and is nowadays a Visiting Professor there.
