Short description of the case:
In co-operation with the Association on efficient administration (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für wirtschaftliche Verwaltung e.V.) and software producers, the statistical offices at Federal and Länder level have developed a procedure which helps businesses required to provide relevant statistical data to compile this data, which saves processing time and thus reduces costs. The main objective for the development and use of eSTATISTIK.core is to make it easier for those providing information (businesses and authorities) to transmit statistical data. The new IT procedure offers businesses the possibility to compile statistical data automatically from their accounting system and to transmit this data via the internet to the statistical offices. A special statistics module in the company’s software helps compile data packages and send them to a central data reception point which automatically forwards the information to the statistical offices. eSTATISTIK.core thus makes the work of the companies in question easier and provides major efficiency gains and cost reductions to the statistical offices and companies concerned through the online-based division of responsibilities.
Main feature of the case:
- Effective management of resources and partnership
- Developing and managing processes
