Short description of the case:
This case illustrates how the European Commission manages IT in a decentralised organisation to support in a sustainable and predictable manner the strategies and objectives of this organisation. A state of the art conceptual framework has been defined (relying on three pillars Methodology, Strategy and Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture) and starts yielding positive results. The “eCommission” efforts are linked to the EU–wide eGovernment initiative, an important part of the Lisbon strategy.Main feature of the case:
